Introduction
The VA Palo Alto Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency with the additional credential in Rearfoot and Ankle Reconstructive Surgery program accepts applications from graduates of all colleges of Podiatric Medicine. The program emphasizes reconstructive foot and ankle surgery and diabetic limb salvage. Surgery is performed under the direction of a highly experienced staff of board certified physicians. Surgical and clinical experiences occur at the VA Palo Alto Hospital and Clinics, Stanford University, Kaiser Permanente Medical Center San Jose, SOAR Spine and Orthopedics, private office locations and multiple surgery centers.
