Program Emphasis

The Podiatry Residency program has a strong emphasis in becoming a well rounded podiatric physician and surgeon. It emphasizes becoming confident in both clinical and surgical skills. With a busy resident run clinic the residents are able to see the patients from the initial encounter, to the work up for surgery, to performing the surgery, to the post op care.

Residency Overview

Residents will obtain a full range of training/experience from Resident Clinics, Private Practice Rotations, Wound Care, Forefoot Surgery, Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery and Trauma. Excellent Resident Clinic allowing residents to begin learning diagnostic techniques, implement treatment plans and get hands-on experience with a wide array of foot and ankle conditions. Good trauma exposure and resident clinic numbers.
