Duties/experiences include daily patient rounds, elective and non- elective surgery, reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, Limb salvage procedures, use of advanced wound healing modalities, etc. One week each spent in our 2 outpatient clinics for a broad variety of podiatric medical experiences, including wound care and postoperative care. For those with VA credentials, one week can be spent at our affiliated VA Hospital and clinic. Students participate in weekly grand rounds, journal club, and all conferences.
