Norton Audubon Hospital

Introduction

This program is a PMSR/RRA emphasizing a well-rounded surgical experience including trauma, foot and ankle reconstruction, limb salvage and elective forefoot surgery. We offer a diverse education experience with clinical rotations in anesthesia, orthopedics, pediatric orthopedics, family medicine, emergency medicine, infectious disease, vascular surgery, HBO/wound care, and more. Coverage extends to all Norton Healthcare facilities. Podiatry takes primary call at 6 Norton hospitals for all foot and ankle conditions including complex trauma. With a faculty of podiatric and non-podiatric physicians participating in the Program, out residents have ample opportunity to hone their surgical and medical skills. Clerkship with our program is MANDATORY to be considered for a residency position. This process allows the faculty to better evaluate each candidate instead of a one-hour interview.
