Residency Overview

Premier podiatry residency program in the Gulf South region. Surgical number requirement is easily surpassed. Surgical cases to include: elective forefoot, forefoot reconstruction, simple and complex rearfoot, ankle. Teaching faculty includes over 15 podiatric surgeons, orthopedic foot and ankle specialist. Program based at EJGH hospital in Metairie, LA; however you will scrub and rotate with podiatrists in New Orleans, Baton Rouge and Thibodaux Louisiana. Outstanding experiences in private practice offices. Wound care center rotation. Friendly podiatric faculty; no pimping or abuse - just teaching. Friendly and supportive medical staff. We are only seeking residents who are: responsible, self-motivated team players who are driven to learn and succeed.
