Advocate Christ Medical Center
Introduction
Advocate Christ Medical Center is a CPME accredited PMSR-RRA Podiatry residency program with an exceptionally large diversity of surgical exposure at one of the busiest Level 1 Trauma Centers and Children's hospital. The residency program is designed to provide a diverse and intensive clinical and surgical experience at a premier teaching hospital. In addition to Advocate Christ Medical Center and Hope Children's hospital, residents perform a large volume of surgical procedures at five additional surgery centers, and three other hospitals.Residency Director

Residency Overview
Advocate Christ Medical Center is a registered PMSR-RRA with exceptionally large diversity of surgical exposure at a very large level one Trauma medical center and large children's hospital. Residents cover in-house management at Advocate Christ Medical Center and Advocate Children's Hospital. There are also an additional 9 locations for case coverage in the surrounding area. Residents are expected to perform a large volume of surgical procedures, far exceeding CPME residency requirements, under numerous podiatric and orthopedic attendings on a daily basis. Didactic exposure includes journal clubs, case review, board review, cadaver workshops, and surgical labs. Residents are given great responsibility and must be ready for repeated night call, trauma call, ER call and have great integrity. Residency salary, benefits, and training experience are highly competitive.

Graduates who are not United States citizens or residents must have a visa to train in the United States. While they may be eligible for several types of visas, Advocate Health restricts visa sponsorship to the J-1 visas. Any other type of visa will not be accepted.
