Introduction

The University of Cincinnati Medical Center-Podiatric Medicine & Surgery Residency Program with RRA Surgery. This is a program that is highly concentrated in forefoot and rearfoot reconstruction, internal and external fixation, diabetic limb salvage, as well as elective podiatric procedures. All at the region's only level one trauma center. UCMC is one of the few University based programs alongside 53 other residency programs with an immersive experience into both collaboration and experience with various other specialities during training. This program also has an affiliation with the Cincinnati Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Additionally, there are abundant opportunities for research.

Residency Overview

One of the few Podiatric Residency programs in the country which is University based giving the residents an opportunity to interact with the residents from 53 other residency programs. The podiatric residents have the same rights and privileges granted to the other residents within the hospital. Approved by CPME as a Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency with Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery with a 3 year commitment. Students from all schools are considered equally. Tremendous opportunity for a resident as well as for our profession.
