Introduction

The Miami VA Podiatry Residency Program is a well-established and highly respected institution. Our graduates are well-rounded, trained in the latest techniques, and proficient in addressing a wide range of foot and ankle conditions. The program offers comprehensive exposure to lower extremity pathologies, including trauma, limb salvage, and primary podiatric care. For over 40 years, we have served as a center of excellence for South Florida veterans, handling complex cases and challenging pathologies. The program is led by four dedicated attending physicians, each specializing in sports medicine, limb salvage, and trauma. Residents also gain valuable private practice experience through rotations at the University of Miami and South Florida Sports Institute. Residents work alongside University of Miami School of Medicine residents, receiving top-tier training from various departments, ensuring a well-rounded educational experience.
