Residency Overview
Larkin Community Hospital surgical residency program strives to provide a well-rounded teaching environment for students and residents. Under the leadership of Dr. Peter Hanna, the PMSR/RRA program at Larkin Community Hospital provides its residents with hands-on training in up-to-date techniques of foot and ankle surgery. The program places a strong emphasis on reconstructive foot and ankle surgery with experiences in complex surgical technique such as total ankle replacement, ankle and rearfoot arthrodesis, Flat foot reconstruction, hallux valgus, broad spectrum of soft tissue pathology, and diabetic limb salvage. Our residents are integrated closely with all other medical services in the hospital setting including Internal medicine, vascular, orthopedics, etc., and are offered a well-rounded training experience producing strong and capable physicians.
