Residency Overview

Keralty Hospital is a 125-bed acute care hospital serving the Miami community since 1966. As of 2022, with the new Keralty Administration the entire hospital has been renovated along with the technology and its resources. Training resources available include North Shore Hospital, outpatient ambulatory surgical centers, outpatient clinics, and private offices. This is a highly academic program with a great deal of responsibility placed upon the residents including an active ER and in-house patient management. Each resident is expected to be fully prepared academically & possess exceptional clinical & surgical knowledge in order to be provided with the opportunity to gain training in surgery of the foot & ankle and be trained in medicine to be a physician. The program focuses on medical, podiatric, and podiatric surgery education among many other areas and not just podiatry. We expect you to carry your responsibilities as resident physician.
