Clerkship Overview
We have both monthly and CORE clerkships available. We select students during the rounds and do not accept more than a total of 4 students per month (Regular block rotation and CORE). The program offers a diversity in OR locations and experiences as well as clinical and wound care.

Residency Overview
Vanderbilt University Medical Center is a Level 1 not-for-profit Joint Commission accredited 1741 bed hospital. Vanderbilt is the only Level-1 trauma center designated by the American College of Surgeons serving both adult and children in middle Tennessee. The residency curriculum is structured into 13 blocks, with 22 months on Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at both VUMC and the Nashville Veterans Administration Medical Center. Didactic training includes resident participation in cadaver labs, lectures, conferences, journal club, board review and research.
