Introduction
The CHA Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency is a prestigious three-year program affiliated with Harvard Medical School and accredited by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education (CPME). The residency accommodates six residents, with two individuals in each year of training. The program is structured around a rotational model, emphasizing a resource-based, competency-driven approach to assessment and training. As residents progress through their training, they are entrusted with increasing levels of responsibility in patient care and clinical decision-making. These hands-on experiences are complemented by didactic activities, including journal clubs, skills workshops, case reviews, and lectures. Research opportunities are abundant and strongly encouraged to foster academic and professional development. The program benefits from a diverse and high-volume mix of community-based and referral patients, offering residents unparalleled exposure to both medical and surgical cases. Residents are fully integrated into two dynamic outpatient podiatric clinics, providing them with comprehensive and varied clinical experiences.Clerkship Program Contact
