Introduction

The strongest feature of our program is the hands-on approach that is introduced from the first day of arrival. This residency is an integral part of a teaching hospital affiliated with the Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University. All rotations are geared to teaching through that hands-on approach. The podiatric clinical experience is invaluable with outpatient office rotations. Here you learn to work up a spectrum of pathologies and follow patients throughout their entire treatment course. In addition, they offer a real look into everyday podiatric practice. The surgical exposure is also done through a hands-on approach from day one. The surgical cases FAR exceed all requirements in each of the surgical categories. If you are a hard-working and self-motivated individual who comes prepared every day, you will excel here.
