                Residency Overview
The Einstein program, now under Jefferson Health, has been around since 1989. It is a 36 month residency with credentialing in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery. It has recently been completely revamped with new offices and younger attendings that are doing the latest foot and ankle cases. The residents graduate with a case count well above the requirement. The residents graduate with the skills needed to perform all foot and ankle cases confidently on their own and with a new didactic schedule in place they are fully prepared for the surgical boards as well. There will be one entry-level position available for the Match. The residents have a large university hospital system at their disposal for non-podiatric rotations, inpatient care, elective and non-elective foot and ankle surgery, trauma, wound care and outpatient clinic. Elective options are available for second and third years and the program offers an extremely competitive salary, vacation and benefits.
