Geisinger Community Medical Center

Introduction

The Geisinger CMC Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency is a distinguished three-year PMSR/RRA program designed to equip residents with an exceptional foundation in both medical and surgical practices. With a robust volume of surgical cases—including forefoot and rearfoot procedures, trauma management, reconstruction, implants, and salvage surgeries—residents gain invaluable hands-on experience. Additionally, the program ensures substantial clinical exposure, allowing residents to engage with pre-operative and post-operative patients, along with comprehensive training in wound care, making it an ideal choice for aspiring podiatrists.
