UPMC is a diverse residency program emphasizing reconstructive and rearfoot surgery and trauma, located in a three-hospital teaching institution in central Pa. Students will have ample operating room time, yet still be involved with academics including our skills lab. We invite students to research our program and apply.

Clerkship Overview
The clerkship program at UPMC Harrisburg is open to applicants from our current affiliated Podiatric Medical Schools. This month's long rotation strives to present a comprehensive picture of our three-year residency program for pre-doctoral podiatric exam students. It also acts to enhance the clinical educational exposure that is already in place. Students will participate in multiple educational opportunities, the inpatient service that spans over three hospitals, multiple surgical centers, outpatient offices, and resident run clinic.

Residency Overview
The UPMC Medical Education Harrisburg residency is a PMSR/RRA program located in Central Pennsylvania. The UPMC Harrisburg system includes three hospitals, two surgical centers, a wound center, and is a well-established teaching facility. Two entry-level positions will be available for 2026-2027 and are open to all colleges of Podiatric Medicine. Excellent salary and benefits are provided.
