Program Emphasis
South Brooklyn Health Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency (PMSR/RRA) Program offers our Residents to have access to a busy 371 bed hospital providing hands on experience with variety of cases through the ambulatory clinics and affiliate surgical centers. Residents participate in weekly journal club. Residents scrub as 1st assist on orthopedic cases.

Clerkship Overview
South Brooklyn Health Podiatry Residency offers comprehensive training in foot and ankle surgery within a busy community teaching hospital. Residents gain extensive hands-on experience in forefoot, rearfoot, and ankle surgery, diabetic limb salvage, wound care, trauma, inpatient and outpatient management. Students rotating through the program participate actively in clinics, surgical cases, educational activities, allowing them to have a full experience of podiatric medicine and surgery in a supportive learning environment.
