Introduction

This program is located in the heart of Brooklyn, New York. We are a small hospital, and since Podiatry is the only residency, the resident will experience a one-on-one with all medical and podiatric attendings. The podiatric attendings are experienced, Board Certified podiatrists. The operating room is equipped with all of the latest instrumentation, allowing the podiatric staff to perform state of the art surgeries. We also rotate through Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn which is a larger, level 1 trauma center. The goal of our program is to graduate residents with an excellent medical and surgical background to become successful in private practice. This is accomplished by block rotations, weekly didactic lectures, journal club. We hold cadaver labs throughout the academic year.
