Introduction
The Podiatry Medicine and Surgery Residency Program at Guthrie Lourdes Hospital provides the necessary requirements for Board Qualification and Board Certification for American Board of Podiatric Medicine and American Board of Podiatric Surgery as approved by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education. Program curriculum is well balanced; providing Podiatric clinic and hospital based medicine, wound care, limb salvage, trauma, reconstructive forefoot and rearfoot surgery, and training in external fixation. Residency Overview
Our Lady of Lourdes Memorial Hospital /Guthrie Lourdes CPME accredited PMSR/RRA program offers a challenging and rewarding curriculum structured to support an excellent, well balanced and successful resident experience.
Our Lady of Lourdes Memorial Hospital / Guthrie Lourdes known for its caring environment is a community hospital serving multiple counties with a diverse population of more than 200,000 ensuring volume and unique multi-specialty experiences.
Rotations with affiliations include a three month Advanced Orthopedic Surgery rotation at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland allowing extensive experiences in lower limb reconstruction and podiatric surgery.
Our three year program accepts four Podiatric interns annually. Salary and benefits continue to be competitive within the region.
