Residency Overview
This program has the added Credential in Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery.
The Podiatry Residency Program is well integrated into a teaching hospital. The goal of our program is to graduate residents with an excellent medical and surgical background to become successful in private practice. This is accomplished by block rotations, weekly didactic lectures, journal club. We hold cadaver labs throughout the academic year. There is a large inpatient/outpatient volume, affording residents excellent exposure to treatment of diabetic infections and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery.
The PGY-3 level of the PMSR/RRA program provides emphasis in advanced reconstructive surgery in foot and ankle.
