Montefiore Mt Vernon is a community-based teaching hospital that functions as a family and values interdisciplinary teamwork. A large portion of our training is performed at Montefiore New Rochelle Hosp. Our PMSR/RRA program offers a comprehensive, well-rounded surgical and clinical education through an academic and positive learning environment. Our residents have outstanding opportunity to train with Wound Care Fellowship trained Doctors and Hyperbaric Certified Doctors, who utilize evidence-based therapies at our HBO wound care center.9143913639 Excellent Vascular Surgery rotation. Our program exposes residents to a high volume of outpatients and the pre & post-op challenges of podiatric surgery. Our residents are exposed to practice management and billing & coding to prepare them for their careers. Didactics are highly emphasized at our program: journal club, Skills Lab
